For SBS solution-dyed black zippers, the yarn supplier uses dope-dyeing technology to produce black yarns. SBS has developed and implemented black yarns weaving technology as well as PET recycling and granuation technology. SBS also enables the teeth of solution-dyed black zipper chains to be produced without printing or dyeing throughout the entire manufacturing process.

SBS produces approximately 266 tons of solution-dyed black zippers per month. Conventional dyed zippers consume around 400 kWh of electricity per ton during the dyeing process. Since solution-dyed black zippers require no additional dyeing, they can help reduce carbon emissions by approximately 667 tons annually.
