Metal zippers are visually appealing, durable, and relatively costly. They are suitable for mid-end and high-end clothing, jeans, shoes, etc. When ironing metal zippers, keep the following precautions in mind.

1. Always zip up the teeth, lay the puller flat, and place it in the proper position.
2. Place a protective cloth over the zipper before ironing.
3. When ironing, avoid the iron staying in the same position of zipper for a long time. Besides, avoid pressing the iron directly on the teeth, slider, pin and box with force. Incorrect ironing methods may damage the surface coating and protective layer of the zipper.
4. For dark-colored zipper teeth paired with light color or bright fabrics (such as black bronzer teeth zipper paired with white fabric, etc.), in order to prevent color transfer during ironing, please place some paper or other cloth between zipper and fabric before ironing.
