A Brilliant Tip For Sewing Zipper Tapes
Most of the conventional zippers available on the market will undergo the so-called zipper wrinkling and arching after installation on the fabrics. It refers to the arching of the finished zipper and the fabric it is attached to, which mainly results from the shrinkage of the zipper tape that is caused by the tension force applied by the sewing thread following the application process.

Fortunately, effective measures can be taken to prevent zippers from wrinkling and arching. Preset the width in the middle of a zipper tape at approximately 5mm to produce a loose wavy effect. The tension force applied by the sewing thread following the installation process will counterfeit the pre-set loose wavy effect mentioned above, enabling the finished zipper as well as the fabric it is sewn onto to feel smooth.
